In our work together, I will help you connect with your strengths, so you can do what you do best.  I work from a collaborative, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral and integrative perspective, and am pragmatic in my approach to helping my clients reach their goals.

I particularly enjoy working with individuals with adjustment issues, bi-cultural conflicts, discrimination/social justice issues, relationship problems, and difficulties with stress management, time management, decision making, identity development, value conflicts, family or origin issues, interracial relationships, and health concerns.

I am a native of Taiwan and came to the U.S. as a graduate student. I am bilingual and counsel in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

I have experience working with many different types of people, from different nationalities, sexual orientations, ethnic, racial and class backgrounds, and I pay close attention to social and cultural factors in my clinical conceptualizations.

On a personal note, I am an animal lover.  I love spending my free time with my dog, cat and foster cats.  I believe animals come into our lives to assist us, and I believe in advocacy and social justice for both humans and animals.  I feel it is a great honor and privilege to meet all of the people and animals who come into my life.
